Hours & Directions
The RPAS is located at 301 J. Rogers Lane, off Redwood Drive in Rohnert Park. It is just south of the Press Democrat building.
Directions:
From the North:
Hwy. 101 South
Take the Golf Course/Wilfred Exit
Left (South) onto Redwood Drive (frontage road on the west side of the freeway)
Past Scandia and the Press Democrat Building
1st right just south of the PD building is J. Rogers Ln, which leads to our door.
From the South:
Hwy. 101 north
Take the Rohnert Park Expressway exit
Left (West) onto Expressway - go over freeway
Right (North) onto Redwood Drive (frontage road on the west side of the freeway)
Left onto J. Rogers Lane (1st left after the Thrift Store - St. Vincent DePaul sign and just south of the PD building).
Hours:
Wednesday 1:00-6:30 p.m.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 1:00-5:30 p.m.
Sunday, 1:00-4:30 p.m.
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays (lost animals are still redeemed).
After hours - Please do not abandon pets on our property - it is neither safe nor humane!
If you have found a stray animal within the city limits of Rohnert Park or Cotati, you can either hold onto the animal until the shelter reopens, or if this is not possible, contact the Rohnert Park Police at 584-2600 for assistance. Please note that emergency calls are given priority, and be patient.
If the animal you found is sick or injured, you can take it to the 24-hour Animal Care Center located at 6470 Redwood Drive, behind Carl's Jr. on the south side of RP Expressway.
If the animal was found outside the city limits of Rohnert Park or Cotati, you need to contact the appropriate agency for instructions. Please click here to see a list of other animal shelters in the area.
